How do I book and pay?

Payments can be made by bank transfer, paypal or cash.

What waste types do you accept?

We accept bin waste, green waste, builders waste, all bulky non hazardous waste. E.g furniture, general rubbish from a house  clear-out, house move, packaging etc. All electrical waste (WEEE waste).

What items don’t you accept?

Fridges, full tins of wet paint, hazardous waste, asbestos, tyres and needles (sharpies)

How do I know you will dispose of my rubbish correctly?

GYJO is fully licensed waste carrier licence :  CBDU100937. On request we can send the waste disposal receipt to the customer, once the waste has been disposed of at the recycling centre.

How much will my rubbish removal cost?

This all depends on the volume and weight of what you want to be collected. We work on cubic yards and weight. If you are unsure about the amount of waste you have you can always upload an image for a quote. We understand it can be difficult to estimate so our team are on hand to support you with this. You can call, email, WhatsApp, iMessage or upload a picture for a quote. Use the quote guide for help.

Do I have to be at home for my collection?

You do not need to be home for your collection. We encourage customers to leave their items outside and you representative will collect it. We can add any comments to your booking to give the team access info e.g. "down the alley of the house". If leaving on the road it is sometimes useful to inform your neighbours so they know the waste will be removed. We can also take a photo of the cleared waste once the job is completed for peace of mind

Will you pick up my garden waste?

All garden waste, grass clippings, leaves etc need to be bagged up. Larger items like branches, pots etc can be left as they are.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can rearrange up to to 14 days in advance free of charge. Cancellations to be confirmed within 48 hours of the booking.

What are your hours of operation?

Our standard hours of operation are 7:00 to 1830 Monday to Friday and 0700 – 1300 on Saturday.

How do I prepare for waste removal collection?

We ask all waste to be bagged ideally. This allows for a swifter cleaner removal. For bulky items please ensure the access areas are cleared to allowing us to navigate and remove items without causing damage.

Do you provide a free estimate or a quote?

As standard we offer an estimate based on a video or photographs. In some situations, we will also provide a visit to sight quote. 

How quickly can you collect?

Depending on location this could be same day or the next working day.

How many representatives will attend on the day?

In most cases one representative is sent, please do mention if items are larger and may need an additional person on site.
